Questions, answered

Everything you’re wondering.

Sizes, move-in, access, climate, insurance, and the rules — the short answers. Can’t find it? Call us or use the size finder.

Sizes

  • Use our Find Your Size tool — tell it what you’re storing (a studio, a 3-bedroom house, a car, business stock) and it recommends a unit with the price and what’s in stock. As a rule of thumb: a 5×5 holds a closet, a 5×10 a studio, a 10×10 a 1–2 bedroom apartment, a 10×20 a 3–4 bedroom house. Unit sizes are approximate — you’re welcome to inspect a unit before you rent.

Renting

  • Yes. Reserve online, sign the month-to-month lease on your phone, set up autopay, and your personal gate code is texted to you instantly. Drive up and move in today — no waiting for an appointment.

  • No. Every unit is month-to-month. There’s no long lease and no deposit — stay one month or ten years, and cancel anytime with a short notice as described in your rental agreement.

Access

  • Gate access runs 6 AM to 10 PM, 365 days a year, with your personal code. Extended and 24-hour access can be added to most units at any time. The office is staffed during posted business hours, and there’s a 24-hour gate and lockout line.

Climate

  • Climate-controlled units are indoors and held between roughly 55 and 80°F with managed humidity. Choose climate control for electronics, wood and leather furniture, artwork, photos, documents, musical instruments, and anything Denver’s temperature swings could warp, crack, or mildew.

Vehicle

  • Yes — we offer covered drive-up bays and open parking pads for cars, motorcycles, boats on trailers, utility trailers, and RVs up to about 40 feet. Wide aisles make turning easy, and there’s a dump-and-rinse station on site.

Business

  • Absolutely. Our commercial units offer drive-up loading, package and freight acceptance, and optional 24-hour access — ideal for inventory overflow, records retention, trade tools, and event gear, at a fraction of warehouse cost.

Protection

  • A storage facility is not a bailee and does not insure your belongings — you store at your own risk, and coverage is required. Many tenants are covered by their homeowner’s or renter’s policy; if not, we offer an optional Tenant Protection Plan at move-in. We’re happy to explain the difference.

Rules

  • You may not store hazardous, flammable, toxic, or explosive materials; perishable food; living things (people, plants, or animals); stolen or illegal goods; or anything that gives off odor or fumes. When in doubt, ask — the full list is in your rental agreement and on our legal page.

  • Your rental agreement gives the facility a lien on the property in your unit. If rent goes unpaid, access can be restricted and — after the notice period required by Colorado’s Self-Service Storage Facilities Act — the contents may be sold to satisfy the lien. We always work with tenants first; communication solves almost everything.

Billing

  • Pay online or set up autopay so you never miss a due date. The web rate you reserve is the rate you move in at. Rent is billed monthly; the tenant portal lets you pay, update a card, and manage your account 24/7.
